My Story

This year’s annual Roundhouse challenge is back. Some of you will know that I wasn’t able to join the fun last year (which I was hugely disappointed by, having taken part every year before), and so I knew that I had to do the 2025 challenge, and do something extra special to make up for my absence last year.

So I’ve managed to recruit two of this year’s incredible Roundhouse young trustees to join me - Roshan and Toni. Though only in post for a few months, Roshan and Toni have gotten stuck in with all things Roundhouse and I couldn’t be more pleased that they’ll be walking with me.

Together we’ll be trekking a marathon 26 miles in the Chilterns on Saturday 7 June which is no small feat… It is a marathon distance all in one go and I’ll be doing some serious walking to prepare.

Roshan, Toni and I will need your support to take on all these steps.

I am hugely thankful and appreciative of all your support. You’ll be keeping us going on the day, and most importantly, will be supporting the next generation of diverse young creatives. You’ll have seen that over the past 15 years, two thirds of council-run youth centres have closed down. Of course, at the Roundhouse we’ve been continuing supporting and investing in young creatives - we’ve even opened a new building and created a new festival! It’s all so we can grow our reach to support even more young people than ever before.

If you’d like to find out more about our work, or if you would like to make a donation to the Roundhouse directly via bank transfer etc. (which’ll still count towards our total) then please get in touch with the team: [email protected]

Thank you.
